Software Engineering (Electrical Engineering Automation Direction)

   Software Engineering (Electrical Engineering and Automation) majors began enrollment in 2017. It is a complex specialty set up to adapt to the current industrial information and intelligence. It is based on industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, computer science and technology, and pays attention to the application of computer software development, management and maintenance in the field of intelligent manufacturing. The major of software engineering (electrical engineering and its automation direction) trains students to master the basic knowledge of software engineering, and at the same time is familiar with the basic theory and technology of industrial automation, intelligent control and intelligent manufacturing. The two aspects of software engineering and automation complement each other, are moderately integrated and effectively supported.

  The main features of this major are the combination of software engineering and automatic control, intelligent control, strong and weak electricity, electrical technology and information technology. This major has broad prospects in software engineering, intelligent control, intelligent manufacturing and industrial control network.

  Main courses: C/C programming, discrete mathematics, data structure, computer composition principle, software engineering, operating system, database introduction, software engineering, computer network, JAVA programming, JSP programming, engineering drawing, electrical and electronic technology, motor and drag foundation, automatic control principle, single chip microcomputer principle and application, embedded system, power electronics technology, network integration automation, electrical control technology and PLC、 industrial robot, etc.

  After graduation, students can work in software development, engineering design, applied research, operation management and so on in the fields of software engineering, intelligent manufacturing and intelligent control, or they can continue to study for master's degree in automation major or computer science related major.
