In order to strengthen fire prevention and control in winter and spring, create a good education and teaching environment, and ensure the personal safety of teachers and students and the harmony and stability of the campus, the College held a special meeting on safety and stability and comprehensive management on the afternoon of December 7. The meeting was presided over by Party Secretary Liu Chuanli and attended by all teaching staff.
At the meeting, we learned the spirit of the notice on strengthening the fire prevention and control of schools in winter and spring issued by the Provincial Department of education, the notice on carrying out the investigation of potential safety hazards in laboratories of the whole school, and watched the "119" special education video on fire safety.
The meeting pointed out that winter and spring has always been a high incidence period of fire, and the majority of teachers and students should not be careless. They should learn the knowledge of fire safety, fire prevention and escape and self rescue. It is necessary to strengthen the safety inspection of fire-fighting facilities in public places of the college, especially the safety prevention of student dormitories and laboratories, so as to ensure that the dormitory environment is clean and tidy, and the experimental practice teaching environment and order are good.
The meeting stressed that eliminating accidents is not safe, and eliminating hidden dangers is safe. Heads of departments, discipline groups and key research teams of the college should improve their political position, deeply understand the extreme importance of doing a good job in safety work of the college, constantly strengthen the awareness of safety red line, always tighten the string of safety, resolutely overcome paralysis and fluke, focus on troubleshooting and rectifying potential safety hazards, and aim at preventing and curbing all kinds of safety accidents, Ensure the safety and stability of the college.
