Robotics engineering is a new engineering major established in line with the development needs of national intelligent manufacturing and international development trends, mainly for industrial robots, based on automation with the deep integration of robot science and engineering science features, training master modern mechanical design and manufacturing, sensing, information and industrial network technology, servo motor and drive technology, intelligent control, robot programming and applications and other professional knowledge, with modern industrial robot design, manufacturing, programming, installation, commissioning and maintenance of advanced engineering personnel.

Main courses: painting geometry and mechanical drawing, mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing foundation, robotics mechanics, electrical and electronic technology, automatic control principles, signal analysis and system processing, digital signal processing, machine vision and image processing, offline robot programming and simulation, robot field programming and commissioning, robotsystem integration, electrical control technology and PLC.

After graduation, students can work in robot design and manufacturing, application and maintenance, simulation and integration in the fields of structure design and intelligent manufacturing related to robot engineering, and can continue to study for a master's degree in robot engineering.
